One day, I stumbled upon the breathtaking beauty of @thistlethistle 's work, and from that moment on, I was captivated not only by her creations but by the magical soul behind them. Katie shone with a light that felt warm and healing, a glow that touched the heart and lifted the spirit. Her voice, filled with enchantment, carried stories and emotion in every note. I fell in love, with her art, her presence, and the radiant energy she shared so generously with the world.
It has been a true joy to witness her work bloom day after day, so pure, yet so powerful. I found myself admiring everything about her, her adventures, her smile, and especially her eyes, eyes full of life, wonder, and love.
I was fortunate enough to connect with Katie online, and even more blessed that we exchanged pieces of our art, sent with heart and love across the distance. It felt like a dream come true to send her one of my wands, the one she chose and cherished. And her jewelry... oh, my heart. I will treasure those pieces forever, just as I will treasure the words she wrote to me.
When I read the news about her cancer being tougher than expected, my heart broke. Though I live across the ocean, it felt as though the world tilted. I was devastated, not only for Katie and her beautiful, radiant soul, but for her husband, their life together, their future. So much love, so much light, suddenly shadowed. I was, and still am, angry. So, so angry the most horrible day happened this month of May.
To honor Katie, I’ve created three special wands. All proceeds from them will go to her beloved husband Spain. They are a tribute to her, her love, her spirit, her art. A way for all of us to remember the magic she gave so freely, and to let her legacy live on in light and love. As Spain will celebrate Katie's work in October, I feel this could be a way to help him create what he wishes for Katie. My heart is broken and I send you Spain @cluvdeego all my Love and Strength.
